Laboratory Testing
We are registered with a number of laboratories both in Australia and USA which gives us access to a wide range of tests. Choosing the right test with the right laboratory is essential to minimize false negatives/positives due to incorrect transport, storage or handling. Just as important is selecting clinically relevant tests to get to the root cause of your problem, not merely testing for things we already know.
We have listed some (not all) of the tests we use frequently and labs we are registered with:
- CBC (Complete Blood Count) and BMP (Basic Metabolic Panel)
- CSA (Comprehensive Stool Analysis)
- FMA (Fecal Microbial Analysis)
- PCR (Multiplex testing for 10 major pathogens)
- SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth)
- OATS (Organic Acid Test)
- Amino Acid panels
- IgA, IgG & IgE Food Allergy Testing
- Hormones (urine)
- Hormones (blood & salivary)
- Methylation Profile
- Gene tests including 23-and-me and SmartDNA
- Visual Contrast Sensitivity Test (biotoxins)
- Mercury Tri-Test (utilizes mercury speciation analysis that separates methyl mercury from inorganic mercury and measures each directly)
